deer hill expeditions service video and NYC Art of Flight recap video

one of the really unique things about deer hill, is their close relationship with many of the Native American Nations of the southwest. I was lucky enough to spend this summer traveling between these nations and capturing numerous deer hill programs and their interactions with their native hosts. to learn more go to

This post is about a month late (whoops), but last month I got to go to NYC for the first time ever to shoot a recap video of The Art of Flight World Premiere for snowboard mag. this was a dream come true, not only did we get to explore this amazing city, but we got to have exclusive interviews with travis, curt, landvik and the rest of the crew. not only is it an absolutely amazing film, but the experience was second to none. I am not a big city person, but NYC is somewhere I am looking forward to visiting again. I can't embed the video, but you can watch it on the snowboard mag site (HERE)

It's Our Fault

In case you haven't seen it yet, the new movie being released by Six Eleven this fall is called 'It's Our Fault'. I am very excited about it, it is definitely the best snowboard film we have made to date! The world premiere will be in Denver, Oct 1st at the City Hall venue. Here's the trailer!

home run derby

this is a new thing for us. none of us ever really played baseball before (obviously), but it has turned into a weekly event that is sure to make this summer one to remember.

I have been very busy lately (traveling and some miscellaneous freelance work) . went to Disneyland last week with mr Gus Kenworthy and Robin Macdonald, such a fun trip! Disneyland is unbelievable, I cannot fully explain it. amazing. I leave tomorrow morning to start my filming work with Deer Hill Expeditions again. this year we will be focusing on the 'service' section of the programs they offer. I am very excited for this project to start, but will be away from durango most of the month. hope all is well and speak with you soon!

Trent Taylor

trent is a good friend of mine, he is wild..that's probably the best way to describe him. he is also a very talented artist. a few months ago, trent proposed the idea of shooting a timelapse of a mural he was going to paint in a friends apartment. we shot this over the course of a few days and finally after sitting on the harddrives for a month or so I was able to edit this piece in time for his art show this saturday. I am pretty excited about this piece because it was so involved with friends. the art was obviously provided by trent, the music was provided by my other good friend chuck (Devvils) and obviously filming/editing was done by myself. enjoy!

Secret Lives of the Divine

this is a recent project that I was DOP and editor of. sarah is a very energetic and happy person who's performance is definitely one worth seeing. I worked on this project with a previous teacher of mine, Robert Loeser (Director), who was a great help with the shoot. anyways, this was a new type of project for me and I think it came out pretty well!

telluride with gus

sorry it has been so long since my last post, but I have had quite a busy winter! Doing some filming with SixEleven, working at The Boarding Haus, freelance film work and snowboarding when I have the chance. It has been hard to find time to do any filming with no strings attached; just to go have fun with no restraints. Luckily enough, Gus (who has also had a very busy winter filming/competing) and I were able to coordinate a day and a half to meet in Telluride and film at our home mountain and catch up on life. anyways, here is what we came up with. enjoy =)
